HEAT-PRESSED VINYL

  • This is comparable to washing after screen printing.
  • Fabric softeners degrade adhesive, which might result in flaking.

FABRIC SOFTENERS

Fabric softeners can help keep your clothes supple and stop stagnant cling. On the following items of clothing, avoid using fabric softeners:

  • It would damage the ink, degrading the print on screen-printed shirts.
  • Vinyl Printing Shirts: It weakens the adhesive resulting sticker peeling.
  • Polyester, moisture-wicking, or fire-retardant materials are adversely affected because of the residue they produce.

We offer prewashed and preshrunk clothing, eliminating the need for shrink washing. It will simply cause the fabric and printing on clothing to fade.

Depending on the ratio of cotton to polyester, cotton/poly blends are often less likely to shrink. Less shrinking equates to more polyester. Ask us if you’re unsure if your clothing has been pre-shrunk if you have any questions!

Avoid dry cleaning clothing because it will make your clothes pill. Pilling is a significant factor in why clothing loses quality since it is brought on by friction when clothes are spin washed in a stack and also during the dry cleaning process. Would you like our opinion? Many of the items that Zega Apparel sells are constructed of a yarn that resists pilling, such as Gildan t-shirts. No clothing, however, is entirely “pill free.” How you take care of your clothing determines how long it will look good. You alone can stop pilling!
